Grief Doesn't Stop, But One Adjusts

Gradually, over time, bit by bit ...

  1. Thank you, Rosemary. My friend's brother had a massive stroke last night and they will remove life support in the morning. I believe losing a brother, or sister, will be harder than losing parents. But not nearly for most as losing a spouse. Divorce was really tough too, for me at least.

    1. What a terrible thing for your friend to confront! I am glad if my brief piost this week was timely — but I fear your friend will have to find out, as we all do, from experience. I recommend, at some point, reading about the stages of grief; I found that helpful. Didn't stop me going through them, but did help me get perspective on what I was experiencing. (And am re-experiencing.)
